The 2008 MTV Movie Awards: Announcing the Winners

Written by on Sunday, June 1st, 2008 in Latest News.

Another year, another MTV Movie Awards. Mike Myers did his amusing small skits (including a throwback with Dana Carvey to their Wayne’s World days), Adam Sandler (The Sandman?) sang a song about himself to himself, and Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson made a hilarious pair standing next to each other on stage.

I reckon my favorite part was when Steve Carell said to The Rock, “I reckon I can handle this, Dwayne,” and an audience member yelled “That’s what she said!” Second-favorite part: Diablo Cody putting a hand to her heart in a swoony motion as Johnny Depp took the stage. Damn, he’s hot. OK, back on task — to check out the full list of winners for this year’s MTV Movie awards just .
