Dutch win gold in 400 free relay, US takes silver

The Netherlands won the gold medal in the women’s 400-meter freestyle relay Sunday, setting an Olympic record of 3 minutes, 33.76 seconds. The U.S. team, with 41-year-ancient Dara Torres swimming the anchor leg, took the silver in 3:34.33. Australia was third in 3:35.05. The Dutch broke the Olympic mark of 3:35.94 set four years ago by the Aussies.

Phelps wins first gold in record time

Clearwater’s Railey Ahead of ‘The Man’
