Reuters – North Korea said on Thursday that if the international community punishes it for next month’s plotted missile launch it will restart a nuclear plant that makes weapons grade plutonium.

AP – Demolition crews blasted chunks of ice near a huge ice jam in the Missouri River on Wednesday in a bid to open a channel, like pulling out a giant plug to drain a flood threatening the city. Officials plotted two more rounds of explosives.
