Ex-Giants player pleads guilty to fraud (AP)

A 70-year-ancient man who played a year for the New York Giants in the 1960s pleaded guilty Monday to fraud charges and was immediately imprisoned. Clyde “Peter” Hall cheated investors out of millions of dollars by promising to help them obtain loans from banks, only to accept large deposits before failing to deliver on his promises, the government said.
