Federal Web sites knocked out by cyber attack (AP)

A widespread and unusually resilient computer attack that started July 4 knocked out the Web sites of several government agencies, including some that are responsible for fighting cyber crime, The Associated Press has learned.

Work is officially under way on a new H E B Plus store in Southeast Austin that is set to open next spring, replacing the 25-year-ancient store at East Riverside Drive and South Pleasant Valley Road. It will be H E B’s first new store in that vicinity since the San Antonio-based chain and dominant grocer in Central Texas opened a location on East Seventh Street in 1999. The current Riverside store, which opened in 1984, will be demolished, and the space will be used to provide more than twice as much parking for the new store.
