Reuters – Corazon Aquino of the Philippines, whose ouster of one of the 20th Century’s most corrupt dictators made her a global icon of democracy, died on Saturday after a 16-month battle against colon cancer. She was 76.

Gator football team raises funds for charity

Before the rain came down Friday night, The Swamp was flooded with Florida fans keen to see the Gators battle it out in the Gator Charity Challenge. About 2,500 people attended the second annual challenge in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to watch Florida players compete in a three-part strongman competition to raise money for six Shands Hospital-affiliated charities.
