Casey)AP – Authorities believe the man sought in the killing of four police officers is still alive and has been aided by a network of friends and family, a police spokesman said Monday night. Officers believe Maurice Clemmons was shot in the abdomen during the attack on the officers at a Parkland coffee shop, and had speculated he might have died.

‘Locality pay’ for federal workers won’t increase

WASHINGTON – Federal employees whose regional costs of living entitles them to higher compensation will see no increase in their “locality pay” percentages next year, President Barack Obama informed Congress on Monday.

China lifts import ban on U.S., Canada, Mexico pork (Reuters)

Reuters – China has lifted its bans on imports of pork products from the United States, Canada and Mexico, its quarantine bureau said on Tuesday, but analysts said the go would not likely lead to a surge of new imports.
