All About the Design of Your Future Mobile Home

Written by on Friday, December 11th, 2009 in Latest News.

Manufactured and mobile homes are built with precision and care, and they meet stringent construction and inspection standards that are strictly enforced by not only the state of California, but the federal government as well. These construction standards (which fall underneath the HUD Code) have a heavy emphasis on the continual adoption of the newest technologies and most efficient factory production procedures. This attention keeps the costs of modular and mobile homes dramatically lower than their “stick-built” counterparts, which are produced on-site. If you are interested in a manufactured, mobile, or modular home, you will likely find that high quality, lasting durability and sustainable worth are the trademarks of today’s modular and mobile homes.

Not forgetting the high standards of mobile home construction, your customizable options truly allow you to build the manufactured household of your dreams at a fraction of the price a “stick-built” house would cost. Your choices range from architectural styles, amenities, decors, appliances, sizes and even the floor plot! Due to the strict guidelines elaborated by the HUD Code, today’s modular, mobile and manufactured homes are increasingly more energy efficient. You have the ability to develop a design with a lengthy list of features that typically come standard, such as: gorgeous vaulted ceilings, energy efficient built-in appliances, and window and floor coverings. You can also elect to have custom cabinetry, special window designs and shapes, inviting fireplaces and ceramic tile floors and counter tops. Manufactured homes range from a cozy 500 square feet up to a generously spacious 3,000 square feet. Attached garages are even an option. They can be wood-sided, stucco, with shingled or tiled roofs. The possibilities are virtually endless.

Once you’ve customized your manufactured home to your heart’s content, next is deciding exactly where you want to live. If you already own your own lot in an urban, suburban or rural location, you have the option of placing your home on said lot. Otherwise, you’ll be required to select a lot, subdivision, plotted unit development or land-lease community; subsequently, you’ll need to make sure you obtain the necessary building, utility and occupancy permits.

Now that you’ve selected the location of your future mobile home, now comes the worry banal to the present market conditions: Is my manufactured home going to hold its value? The answer is a resounding yes. Since modular, manufactured homes are built with the same materials as traditional “stick-built” homes, they keep the same long-lasting durability. The fundamental factors that lead to appreciation of your mobile home are quality, location, demand, size and appearance. If your household shines in these areas, manufactured homes absolutely will remain competitive even with their traditional “stick-built” neighbors.

So, as you start the process of designing your new mobile home, you can have the utmost confidence that, whether you are purchasing a mobile or modular home, your new house will be exactly what you want, exactly where you want, and will retain substantial marketable value if and when you choose to sell your manufactured home someday.

Major makeover of Wall Street regs passes House (AP)

Written by on Friday, December 11th, 2009 in Latest News.

Notice no Repubetards voted for it, I guess that goes for Ron Paul as well since he gets that mark. I’m disappointed Dr. Paul as this strips Federal Reserve powers and that is what you want, but you went with the sheep who want to ruin America and keep our corruption problems going. Excellent job for the Democrats for helping the small investors, crushing blow for Wall St., victory for Main St.
